1840s OPEN PONTIL COLOGNE BOTTLE EMB FLOWERS ON FRONT & BACK RIBBED SIDES

Description

This is an early pontiled cologne bottle from the 1840s with bold embossed flowers on front and back of bottle. The front also has a blank label space on lower half.....ribbed corrugated sides....Open pontil....thin flared lip has been almost completely chipped off...aqua...unique shaped with hollow footed base....4 3/8"tall....chipped away flared lip, but no other damage. A dug bottle with some light haze, but not bad... This fancy style of early pontiled cologne bottle is getting harder to find and more desirable by collectors
