    This is a very scarce early red, white & black cased glass scent flask or pocket cologne bottle from the mid 1800s....it has beautiful maroon, opal white & black splotched interior layer of glass with an outer clear layer, which is referred to as "cased glass"......hand blown with cut glass panels, notched sides and 8 sided cut glass neck....cut polished bottom and top of sheared lip....3 3/4"tall....Sparkling mint condition with no chips or damage.  A shiny clean flask with no haze. A beautiful and rare pocket flask!
