This publication promotes
Dr. David Kennedy's Favorite Remedy
for curing all diseases of the skin, liver, kidneys and blood.  Dr. Kennedy's Favorite Remedy was manufactured by Dr. David Kennedy Corporation, Rondout, City of Kingston, New York.
In the booklet, Kennedy mentions every possible disease of the above-named organs.  He describes many illnesses in detail and prescribes methods of treatment, including a healthy diet along with his remedy (medicine).  Testimonials are included.
Dr. David Kennedy was a graduate of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of New York, a member of the Ulster County, New York Medical Society, and a medical and surgical practitioner in Rondout, New York.
We discovered articles from several northeastern newspapers from the 1890's and 1900, extolling the virtues of Dr. Kennedy's Favorite Remedy.
One such article was a March 24, 1900 article from the Cambridge Chronical, titled, "Dr. David Kennedy's Favorite Remedy Has Proven Itself to be the Only Positive Cure for Kidney and Bladder Diseases".
The article goes on to say, "Thousands of requests for free bottles of Dr. David Kennedy's Favorite Remedy are received nearly every day by the manufacturers, and upon strict investigation, it has been found that no less than 91 out of every hundred of those receiving trial bottles have been so helped by the Remedy sent that they have bought large sized bottles at their druggists.  It has been proven beyond question that Favorite Remedy is the very best medicine known for diseases of the Kidneys, Liver, Bladder and Blood, Rheumatism, Dyspepsia, Chronic Constipation, and the sickness peculiar to women.  The manufacturers are prepared to send free trial bottles post paid to all those who will write, giving their full name and post office address to the Dr. David Kennedy Corporation, Rondout, N.Y. and mention this paper."
CONDITION: Pages of the booklet are in Excellent Condition; clean.  Front & back cover had separated at the spine and have been re-attached with clear archival tape.  Front cover has corner chips.
