    RARE HISTORIC DOG BREED ART PRINT, 1910 date of issue in The Dog Lover's Book, written and illustrated by John Edwin Noble. One of only very few books that this talented illustrator contributed to - he did it all in this one. There is a unique and wonderful quality to these early full color representations, with qualities much like those of stained glass windows, which his art has been compared to, specifically, see the ENGLISH FOXHOUND / Hunting Scene print currently listed in my auctions as the most perfect illustration! There are also elements in most of the illustrations similar to woodcut art.
    This Auction is for the Breed: IRISH AND SCOTTISH TERRIER playing with a STICK in a landscape, OUTDOOR SCENE. Condition: Excellent. Border: Heavy line border is strong all the way around the image. One only!
    This is an original page of a book of numerous breeds of dogs, published in the year 1910, in the United Kingdom. Highly collectible and rarely found, the book this print is from is extremely rare, and can rarely be found, selling for approximately 0.00, currently. Please bookmark this auction, there is only ONE of each of these original prints available at this time! Page size is 7.5" wide x 9.4" high, and the image size is approximately 4.5" wide x 5.5" high, reverse side of page is blank. Note that the image is centered on this page, and paper may be slightly toned at edges due to age. Guaranteed 110 years old, this is a rare and wonderful old dog print to add to your collection! Absolutely framable quality artwork!
    This print will look best double matted and framed. There is a minimum of 1.5" of white space completely surrounding the image, so any option you may choose for matting and framing can be accommodated.
