2 BEANY AND CECIL Vinyl Lunchbox & Bag, Purse Style, 1961

THIS AUCTION IS FOR BOTH BAGS. A LARGE BEANY AND CECIL VINYL ZIPPERED BAG AND A SMALLER BEANY AND CECIL SNAP BAG.
The larger bag has also been called a Lunch bag or Brunch Bag.  It's in the style of a children's large purse.
This vinyl bag is an original from 1961.  SUPER RARE!! GREAT COLOR!  Featuring those beloved characters created by the great Bob Clampett. Beany Boy, Cap'n Huffenpuff, Crowy, and Dishonest John are all on board the Leakin' Lena with everyone's favorite sea monster, Cecil, right alongside!   It measures approximately 8” X 9” X 3” inches. The pull-tab on the zipper has a tiny bit of rust but the teeth are clean and the zipper works. In my opinion it looks pretty clean inside and out. There are a couple of small marks on each bag. There are some cracks in the vinyl as shown in the pictures Remember it's over 60 years old!! When you get to be 60 you will also start getting cracks on you! Really doesn’t show much if put on display with your other treasures. Both bags have various spots where the vinyl is not perfect. Study the pictures. If you want a photo from another area, just ask. It's not my intention to try and hide any or all imperfections.
The 2

smaller bag in this auction has the same artwork on the cover as the larger bag. This one closes with a snap (that works) rather than a zipper. This one also has a crack by one of the handles. But hey,
they are both more than 60 years old!
This smaller version measures approximately 4 ¼ x 5 1/2 x 2 1/2.
