Up for sale are 6 large 2.5" across quahog shells sourced from the waters of Narragansett Bay. Any source is an ancient source! Why waste money buying mostly white shells when these are available? All of these shells have the deep purple and the variegation to make a beautiful pieces of jewelry. These have not been cooked or exposed to any heat which would make the shell brittle. They are also not oiled or wet, the shine is natural! You will get a selection of shells similar to is shown, I will not offer a shell unless the purple goes all the way around the lip.  Buy from an established, trusted wampum seller/artist.
