This is an ancient, glass, folded bead with black & white eye decoration which was found in Mali and comes via the African trade. This ancient specimen measures 13.88mm long by 15.15mm wide. This ancient bead is in fair condition with surface wear and patina from being buried. Sometimes referred to as an Islamic bead, Roman bead or a Medieval bead.
