    Ancient “Nila” glass beads strand excavated in Mali.
    Nila (meaning “blue”) beads have an unknown origin but scholars guess they proceed from Europe or Middle East and arrived West Africa through trade routes crossing the Sahara many centuries ago.

    Collectible and useful as jewelry supplies.
