    Roman mosaic bead
    Egypt
    Date: 1-2 century
    Mosaic glass
    Barrel shaped bead's matrix is formed by folding a premanufactured mosaic strip over a rod. Central band is composed of two mirrored  rows of "running waves".
    Intact, good condition.
    Height 16 mm, diameter 14 mm
