  • Condition: Estate find. Was told it was real, and old. Great color. Basket covering has some breaks consistent with age and use. I'm leaving it as found without any cleaning.     Antique, guessing 1850 - 90 Woven Wicker Basket Covered Aqua Green Glass OLD Bottle
    I have dusted it off, but I am not going to clean it in any way.  Overall it is in good condition for it's age. The woven basket covering has some breaks consistent with it's age and use.  I'm not sure what the basket material is: Reeds? Rattan? Wicker?
    The Aqua Green bottle inside shows no breaks or cracks. Not sure what it held: Wine? Rum? Some other basket covered bottles are listed that are called DemiJohn.  Not sure what makes them DemiJohn.
    There are air bubbles in the glass that you can see at the top spout the detail the age and hand made, mouth blown, aged nature of the glass.
    I'm not sure if this is a Blob applied top bottle. I am not an expert so if anyone sees anything that needs corrected in this listing - please message me.
    It measures 10 3/4 inches tall x 3 7/8" across the base.
    Weighs 1 1/2 pounds on its own.
