ANTIQUE 19TH C HAND EMBROIDERED CHINESE TEXTILE - AS ACQUIRED
DATING TO THE 19TH CENTURY
FASHIONED OF SILK WITH FLORAL HAND EMBROIDERY RUNNING THROUGHOUT WITH SMALL POINTS IN GOLD COUCHED THREAD AND A BAT DETAIL AT THE BOTTOM SURROUNDED IN TWO ROWS OF BRAID.
CONDITION: SOLD AS ACQUIRED.  THERE IS AN OVERALL AGE COLOR WITH PORTIONS OF THE GOLD COUCHED BRAID MISSING.  SMALL HOLES ARE TO THE SILK BETWEEN THE TWO EDGE BRAIDS WITH FRAY TO THE OUTSIDE EDGE AND BACKING MISSING.
