Up for auction is this lot of several Egyptian faience and clay beads. These are awesome pieces! Faience is similar to clay, but is based from quartz. These likely would have once had pieces of glaze or bright colors on them that have worn with aging. They are all from Egypt and would have likely once been part of a necklace then as well. This is a nice variety. The faience beads would have closely related with traditional Egyptian culture (think mummy’s, pharaohs, pyramids, & hieroglyphics). The clay beads would have been associated more with early Coptic Christians from the regions (likely once used as rosary beads). This is a bulk lot (with all the pieces you see in the photo). They all came from several sources, meaning they are likely different ages, and came from different places. Some will be much older than others, and some much more modern. There are also differences in colors, size, some difference in shape, material, and other small differences. This would be a great lot! Perfect set of collectibles! Great for display or gifts! Don’t pass it up!

Sometimes the photos include a picture of the item next to a ruler so that you can better tell the size of the item. This way we can avoid any accidental sizing issues. My goal is to make you happy!
