    Description

    Vintage Asian Hand Embroidered PICTORIAL SILK PIANO SHAWL.
    Lovely Pictorial scenes of colorful birds and flowers!
    The body and fringe is a cream color. The hand embroidery is a vibrant cheerful colorway.
    Picture is the same on both sides
    Weight is close to 3 pounds

    Size: Silk body without fringe about 48" x 52, crocheted trim is 4" and the Lavish Fringe is about 25". She is large.
    Could be worn or used as a wall tapestry or divider. Would make a lovely decorative throw on your couch or bed.
    Double sided design.
    This is a vintage textile. While it has been well cared for, I do see just a couple of shorter fringes and there is fringe curling ends indicative of a vintage Shawl. There are NO snags or tears to silk or embroidery. There is one small area that has a couple of dark spots on the silk...  please see the last pictures close up...this is the only spotting on this piece.
    Kept in a well air conditioned home, this shawl has no old smell and is is lovely condition!
    She will be carefully packaged and mailed by FedEX. Other arrangements can be made if desired.
