Antique Olive Green Free Blown Glass Persian Saddle Flask Bottle

Description

Offered for sale is a beautiful antique free blow glass saddle flask manufactured during the mid 1800s.  The bottle has a unique form with applied glass around the neck and a concave base with rough pontil mark.  The bottle stands about 10 1/4" tall and has a maximum diameter of about 7".
The overall condition of the bottle is excellent.  There are no chips, cracks, or damaged areas other than a single burst air bubble on one side that was done in the making.  The color is very nice and the clarity appears wonderful with very minor spotting and swirls on the inside that can be cleaned out.  The glass has standard mold imperfections and light scratches to the exterior.  Overall a nice piece!
