For sale here is an early, antique, aqua, blown in mold, cork top, rectangular shape, shoe polish type bottle from Boston, Massachusetts. The bottle is embossed FRENCH / GLOSS on one side and WHITTEMORE / BOSTON on the other side. Likely dates to the 1890s. About 4.75 inches tall. No chips or cracks. Very heavy scratches and wear. Looks surf or river tumbled. Gives it some neat character and makes for a real conversation piece of how it survived all those years. Please review photos before bidding/purchasing.
