    In 2006, a small team of individuals set out to buy, sell and trade golf clubs. Through a number of transactions, this team quickly understood the importance of selection and service. Every customer was an opportunity to make a sale as well as be a walking and talking billboard for potential new customers. During Master's week of 2007, 2nd Swing opened its doors for business in Minnesota.
    2nd Swing is a Minneapolis based specialty retailer and online seller of new and used golf equipment and accessories. Our mission statement outlines our desire to own the best inventory selection in the country, which we believe provides customers with a WOW factor! Big box retailers provide up to 6,000 items including golf clubs, clothing and accessories. 2nd Swing's selection will include over 50,000 golf clubs alone.
    As a company, our goal is to exceed customer expectations. Our training and certifications courses will help provide direction and tools to provide the customer with a great experience. In addition, the company offers customer centric services such as trade-ins, a 30-day play guarantee, FREE custom fitting with any purchase and the opportunity to extend the warranty on their pre-owned club purchases up to one year.
    One service we provide that adds value is custom fitting. Less than 1% of the golfing population has ever been fit for golf clubs; our goal is to fit 100% of our customers. Custom club fitting can provide a benefit to players of all skill levels.
    2nd Swing has been recognized and awarded several service and fitting awards. Here are some examples from some of the manufacturer's we work with.
    In 2011, 2nd Swing was honored by Ping and developed the Ping nFlight Performance and Fitting Studios in our retail stores. Also in 2011, Bettinardi Golf recognized 2nd Swing as a premier putter fitter and awarded us the Studio B Fitting Studio. 2nd Swing Minnetonka is 1 of only 3 Studio B Fitting Studios in the country.

    What is the condition of the club?
    A:
    2nd Swing prides itself on giving our items the most accurate condition rating as possible. Please see our condition scale for more detail as to what each condition means. We also take actual photos of our items, the photo you see of the club, is the club you will receive! Please refer to our Condition rating guide found on all of our Ebay listings.
    Q:
    What shaft is in the club?
    A:
    Many of our shaft descriptions state that the item has a stock shaft, this would indicate that the shaft in the club would be the stock option provided by the manufacturer. Some manufacturers do offer multiple shafts as stock options, stock shaft may refer to any of these options. We do provide images of the actual shaft for all of our golf clubs to help better identify the exact shaft in the clubs.

    Is there a headcover included with the club(s) I purchase?
    A:
    Our golf clubs do not include a headcover unless it is seen in the photos with the club. Please see our eBay store in the headcovers category to see headcovers we have available for sale.

    Do you combine shipping?
    A:
    Purchasing Multiple Items (Only Applicable to Domestic US Shipments) - If you are looking to purchase multiple items, please either contact us before submitting payment on the multiple items you are looking at and we can arrange an invoice through Ebay. If you have already purchased the items and paid the shipping for both, please contact us and we will provide a partial refund for any additional shipping charges. Each additional item purchased will be .99. *Some items are not eligible for combined shipping.

    Can you provide a tracking number/delivery confirmation number?
    A:
    Tracking numbers are uploaded as soon as the shipment is created at any of our locations. Once the package is scanned and leaving the facility, you should be able to view the estimated delivery on either Fedex or USPS websites. If you have not received your item by the 8th business day, please send an email to us and include the ebay auction number and we will work with you to track your package or located your order.

    Can you provide the serial number?
    A:
    Per requests by manufacturers, we do not provide any serial numbers to prevent counterfeiting. We have access to view specification for Ping golf clubs and can provide those specs upon request on individual listings.

    Do you ship internationally?
    A:
    We ship all international packages with FedEx International Economy shipping. For security purposes, we want to make sure the package arrives peoperly and therefore, we make all packages trackable. We have classified international shipments into two zones. If your country is not in one of the two zones, we are unable to ship to your location at this time. When going through the checkout process, please make sure to select the proper zone or your order will not be shipped. Insurance is required on all packages sent internationally. All shipments outside the United States may be suject to duties, taxes, import, and other fees. Any additonal charges levied on shipments are the responsibility of the buyer, not 2nd Swing. If you have any questions, please contact your local customs office. These fees are prepaid by FedEx upon clearing customs and the customer must reimburse FedEx when the shipment is delivered. Please note that all shipments outside the United States are subject to inspection by customs and border security authorities. All items will have a declared value for the price that it sells for. Also, the description of goods will be as the item is and will not be declared as a gift.

    Can you end the auction early?

    We are unable to end auctions early. Please use eBay's proxy bidding system if you are unable to make bids towards the end of the auction.

    Can you make alterations to the clubs?
    A:
    Depending on the item, and the alteration that is needed we may be able to make alterations for you prior to shipping out your item. There will be a cost associated with any alterations that need to be made, and the item must be purchased and paid for along with the alterations paid for prior to any being made. Please email us with any specific requests. We do offer free loft and lie adjustments when requested.

    How does your 30-Day Guarantee & Return Process work?

    2ndswing utilizes eBay's hassle-free return process. To return an item, please do the following: Find the item you'd like to return in My eBay and select Return this item from the More actions drop-down menu.|
    1. Select the reason for the return.
    2. When available, print the eBay-generated shipping label. You will be provided with a return shipping label and packing slip.
    3. Pack the item carefully. Include the packing slip, apply the shipping label, and send the item back to us. You must return the item within 5 business days of requesting the return..
    An eBay-generated shipping label allows you to track the status of the returned item in the Purchase history section of My eBay. Find the returned item and click View return details from the More actions drop-down menu.
    We process refunds within 3 business days of receiving the returned item.

    Yes, we have 4 brick & mortar locations. Two in Minnesota, one in Scottsdale, AZ and one in Wilmington, DE

    Step 1:
    Order your item(s) on eBay from 2nd Swing Golf and make payment through Paypal for the item(s) purchased
    Step 2:
    Receive your items from 2nd Swing and open the box to find the item(s) you ordered along with a pre-paid label for your trades
    Step 3:
    Use the box and pre-paid label you received from 2nd Swing Golf and place your clubs in th ebox to be shipped to 2nd Swing for appraisal.

    Step 4:
    Once your clubs are received we wil appraise them and contact you with a value. From there we will instantly credit your paypal account with the amount of your trades or issue an eGift Card if you prefer.

    Returns
    Order Processing
    We ship orders every business day, Monday  through Friday. All orders will ship within 1 business day of payment.  We do not ship on national holidays or weekends. All items that are  shipped at the ground level will be shipped through FedEx Ground or USPS Priority Mail. Orders that require expedited services need to have  payment received on that day, prior to 11AM CST, in order for the order  to be shipped on the same business day. Orders with 2nd Day air ordered  on Thursday will not arrive Saturday as FedEx does not deliver on  Saturdays.

    All golf clubs, bags, and shoes will be sent  via FedEx Ground (unless an expedited shipping option is selected).  Shipping will take 2-6 business days depending on your location with up  to 24 hours of handling time. All FedEx shipments will have tracking  information sent to you by email from FedEx. If you have not received  your items after the seventh business day, please email us and we will  inquire with FedEx. Please note, if a PO Box is your requested shipping  address, the order will be sent via USPS Priority Mail. FedEx will not  deliver to PO Boxes. These items will have tracking information  available.
    USPS First Class Mail (Headcovers, Clothing, & GPS Units)
    All smaller accessories (headcovers, GPS  Units, clothing, etc.) will be sent via USPS Priority Mail. These items  will not have tracking information available. If you have not received  your item by the seventh business day, please email us and we will  inquire with USPS.
    Alaska , Hawaii, Puerto Rico
    All shipments to AK, HI, and PR are sent via  USPS. We do not offer FedEx Ground shipping options to these locations.  ANy expedited shipping option (2nd Day Air or Next Day Air) will be sent via FedEx. When checking out, please select FedEx Ground as the  shipping option as this will equal the proper shipping charge to ship to your location; just remember that it will be sent via USPS.

    FedEx 2nd Day Air - FedEx 2nd Day Air - Delivered by the end of the second business day.

    Canada Shipments
    We ship with FedEx International Economy  shipping to Canada and also offer USPS Priority Mail International. Each item that ships through FedEx will have additional costs for duties and taxes which is the responsibility of the buyer. Please note that all  Canadian shipments are subject to Canadian Sales Tax (both Federal (GST) and Provincial (PST or QST). Contact your local customs office for more details. The taxes are initially paid for by FedEx. The customer must  reimburse FedEx for these charges upon delivery, and are the  responsibility of the buyer, not 2ndswing. We cannot change amounts for declared value. The declared value will equal the purchase price. We  also cannot declare the item as a gift.

    We currently utilize Ebay's Global Shipping program. The rates displayed are the total cost to the buyer if utilizing the Global Shipping Program. If we do not offer the global shipping program for a particular item, we typically ship all international packages with FedEx International Economy shipping.  When going through the checkout process, Ebay will display the total price to ship Internationally through the Global Shipping Program.

    Returns Information
    We work very hard to ensure that you are 100% happy with your  purchase. We strive to accurately describe our equipment and provide  actual pictures of the item(s) to fully represent the condition of the  item(s) you purchase. If you feel that the item you purchased was not  in the condition described, please contact us with 30 days of receipt.
    To return an item it must bin in the same condition as  when delivered. 30 days after receipt of the item the sale is  considered to be complete. You will no longer be able to start a return through the Ebay system after that time frame.
    Unused new products or mint products returned within 30 days of receipt are eligible for a full purchase price refund. Unused  new products or mint products returned after the 30 day return window period,  but within 30 days will receive a refund of 75% of the original purchase price of the item(s).
    Any new products or mint products that have been used or  are not returned in their original packaging and/or condition will  receive a refund of 75% of the original purchase price of the item(s),  regardless of the time frame in which they are returned.
