This shell has a smooth cream color interior.
The exterior has a wavy, ruffly surface.
It measures 10-3/4 x 8 x 3-1/2 and weighs 4lbs..
The Giant Clams
are the largest living bivalve mollusks.
One of a number of large clam species native to the shallow coral reefs
and can weigh more than 440 lbs.
They can measure as much as 47 in. across and have an average lifespan in the wild of over 100 years.
Giant clams live in flat coral sand
or broken coral and can be found at depths of as much as 66 ft.
