    Description

    Available for auction is a natural giant Gigas Clam Shell.
    It measures 14-1/2"long x 9-1/2" wide x 4-1/2 " high and weighs  9.5 lbs.
    It is a white roughish interior full of tiny shells and sealife.
    The exterior is white and an extra little shell stuck to it.
    The Giant Clams
    are the largest living bivalve mollusks.
    One of a number of large clam species native to the shallow coral reefs
    and can weigh more than 440 lbs.
    They can measure as much as 47 in. across and have an average lifespan in the wild of over 100 years.
    Giant clams live in flat coral sand
    or broken coral and can be found at depths of as much as 66 ft.
    They grow to be about 4 feet in length.
    The mantle, or soft tissue, of a giant clam features a combination of colors and patterns that can include yellow, green, iridescent blue, and purple. After attaching itself to a coral reef
