Cree moose hide floral beaded mocassins

Description

Cree man's high top moccasins from central or northern Manitoba or Saskatchewan. Made of top quality native tanned smoked moose hide. They probably date from a circa 1930-40 time period, as indicated by beads used on vamp, but were never worn and are in almost pristine conditions (some colored quills outlining vamp area are missing on one). 10+ inches long. Classic cut and shape for Northern Woodlands/Subarctic central seam mocassins!
