Description
The Cross Townsend fountain pen is one of the top picks forpens
among US presidents and has been one of the most recognizable, classic profiles for any pen in production.
Cross Townsend Lapis Lazuli Limited Fountain Pen
draws from Classic lines nearly a century old.
The Cross Lapis Lazuli is created with striking lapis lazuli stone, obtained from mines in Afghanistan where Lapis was first discovered nearly 6,000 years ago. Ultrafine particles of genuine lapis stone are applied to the writing instrument brass shell making each lapis writing instrument a one of a kind possession.
Lapis is applied through a proprietary process making the stone particles stand on end creating a finish of greater depth and reflectivity. Solid 22 karat gold flake is suspended in the finish before several layers of clear top lacquer are applied. Every Lapis Lazuli instrument is individually hand inspected before it is placed in its case. After a final quality assurance, a Cross quality inspector personally signs the back page each limited edition booklet. Prized by artists and coveted by kings, the Lapis Lazuli distinguishes the world's most rare and cherished possessions.
