Extremely rare! XL Ancient Dzi 7 Stripes Chung Bead Solid 22k Gold Capped Bead

A beautiful ancient Chong dZi displaying four stripes and with many blood spots under magnification. This particular type of Chong (Tibetan Wylie: mChong) is most associated with Tibet and the Himalayan regions. Tibetans value this type of Chong more than the other decorated agates that were traded to Tibet from India in ancient times. These Himalayan beads have become incredibly sacred  and they now seldom come into the marketplace for sale.
The bead was capped with genuine solid 22k Gold

Condition: Very Good with minor weathering commensurate with age.
