INFO.THAT CAME WITH ITEM WHEN ADDED TO OUR MUSEUM: “
The Artist's full name is Haim Elias. Elias is the surname.
The late Mr. Elias (born in Hungary) immigrated to Israel 1948 after surviving the Holocaust. He was a super talented multidisciplinary artist and art designer.
Mr. Elias was working for 40 years as the chief designer of the largest company which produced the art called today "Israeliana". In fact, many of the 1950's and 60's Israeliana products you can find online are his design. (Mostly Judaica products such as Menorahs, plaques and many more)Haim was not a commercial artist and didn't sell pictures (and sculptures..) and I was lucky to buy most of his estate from his son. I was not surprised to discover his artwork created a lot of interest and that most of the paintings were sold.
I don't know much more about him but I do know he was a scholar who was studying Judeo-Christian values."

At age 70 and after quadruple bypass surgery the grand kids have told me that they have no interest in any of the collections in the family’s traveling museum-- MOCAPA. A bit disappointing to hear but well understood in the 21st century. Plus, for me, collecting lacks the attraction that it had in years past as well as the steward collectors. Thanks, joe
