I am currently listing my better "bought" bottles from my collection, some of which I have had for decades. That said, I'm starting with my higher paid for bottles, this one embossed "JAPANESE// GLOSS// POLISH//" on sides and back, PRIMICERIO & CO. near base on front, SHAKE WELL/ BEFORE USING above that, TRADE/ MARK on the warrior's collars, INDESTRUCTABLE on his collar in back, SOLE PROPRIETORS AND MANUFACTURERS/ BALTIMORE, MD. below near base on reverse. WHEW! That's a ton of embossing! The warrior looks stern while the sleeves of his robe shield from view the working ends of two swords. Very well detailed, these have to be the fanciest shoe polish bottles ever made! They are scarce if not rare and command a high price for just a shoe polish! They come in two sizes and this, the larger size at 6 3/4" tall is the harder one to find. It is a tooled top likely from the 1890's and is in perfect condition with no haze or crud.
