As the United States mobilized for war in 1917, the British Air Force orchestrated a recruiting program for the British Air forces. Americans serving with the British fashion flew SC5as. The photograph is of the 86th squadron.
Featuring some of the finest packaging in any industry, empty cigar boxes have been put to good use for centuries. This box is a collectable My Father wooden cigar box with original finish paint and labeling. It is lined in the interior bottom with green felt.
The dimensions of the box are 11 x 7.5 x 2.5 inches.
