    Mosaic eye bead
    Ancient Greece I-II centuries BC
    An elongated, barrel-shaped bead of deaf red glass, with three diagonal rows of eyes, three in each. The eyes are pieces of twigs with a layered cross section. The central red disk in the eyes is surrounded by white, green and yellow rings.
