    Description

    Northwest Coast Kwakiutl Cannibal Necklace
    Outstanding antique from the Northwest Coast.
    This is a necklace or neck / head ring worn by a member of the Kwakiutl Cannibal Society.  Very unusual and rare.
    Beautifully carved Cedar mask pendant carved in the form of a skull.  Made of twisted cedar strips.
    Very nicely done!
    Circa 1900.
    Fantastic original condition!
