Pair, Hand Blown, Rye Pattern, Bitters Bottles W/Original Stoppers. Condition is "Used".
Here we have, a nice pair of hand blown, Rye pattern bitters bottles.
They have the original stoppers, which were ground to fit the opening.
Both stoppers have the bottoms chipped off, which is shown in the photos. Probably done
in the making, but your guess is as good as mine.
They date to around 1880 or somewhere in that time period, according to what I found.
They are in great condition, with no chips, other than the stoppers. Wear on the bottoms
They measure 8 5/8" high with the stoppers, 2 1/8" square, and the stoppers are 2 3/4" long.
They pattern is on all four sides, and is cut into the glass.
Great, early pieces. Good to use or to add to the collection!!!
