Antique Native American Moccasins
Description:
Presented for your consideration is this neat pair of Native American/Indian moccasin shoes. The body of the moccasins is made of soft brown leather and at the back of the shoe is black velvet around the opening. White beaded trim lines the bottom edge of this area and the top is lined with dark blue fabric with a tie at the front. Top of the shoe has a leaf design done entirely in glass beading. Leaves have multicolored ends with clear bottoms. Two stripes of white beading frame the design. All but one bead is intact. One bead is missing on the white trim of one moccasin. All beadwork is tightly secured to the moccasin. There are no markings to determine what tribe these originated from. These neat moccasins would make a great addition to any Native American memorabilia collection!
The side seam as split on one moccasin but just needs to be re-stitched. The back heel seam is also starting to split. A few stitches are loose on the side seam of the other moccasin. Small tears are in the interior lining of each. As previously stated just one bead is missing. Very light age wear. Overall in VERY GOOD condition. Please refer to the photos for the absolute best details.
Unsure as to what shoe size these would be. Each measures 8 5/8" heel to toe, 3 1/2" wide at the widest point and 3 1/2" tall at the heel.
