Description

Here's a scarce hand blown pontiled figural bust of Louis Adolph Thiers, who was president of France from 1871-1873.  The bottle has no embossing but is shaped like the detailed head and upper body of Louis Thiers.  Hand blown in mold...pontil scar on bottom....hand tooled ring collar...clear.....hollow pedestal base.....11 1/4"tall....Excellent shiny nice condition with no chips or damage. It has some normal pontil roughness/flaking from when the pontil rod was snapped off the bottom.  A nice clean bottle that was probably blown in the 1871-1873 period while Thiers was president. ....
