RARE ANTIQUE B.F. BROWN LIQUID DRESSING SHOE POLISH BOSTON AQUA BOTTLE with LABELS
This is a rare antique shoe polish bottle with labels that probably dates to the 1880's. Aqua glass bottle has a wrap-around label that advertises for B.F. Brown's Liquid Dressing or French Dressing for Ladies' and Childrens' Boots & Shoes, Trunks, Harness, Carriage Tops, etc. out of Boston, Massachusetts. This company was established in 1855. One side of the label shows medals this product won in 1878 at the Paris Expedition. Bottle is in good condition overall for its age with some natural wear present. The hard-to-find label is actually pretty complete also with just some small pieces missing. Please see pictures for design and condition detail.
