Rare Bixby French Dressing Shoe Polish Bottle

Here we have a very rare mold for a Bixby, embossed S.M. Bixby & Co. // French Dressing on two panels. It is identical to the much more common Bixby Standard Dressing bottle, except for the embossing. In my 45 years of collecting Bixbys, this is only the second one that I`ve seen, and the other one was badly damaged on the lip. This one has some roughness on the outer edge of the lip, and a small bruise on the side corner, but it still displays nicely, chances of finding a mint one are pretty slim!
