VINTAGE CLAM SHELL
Lovely natural Tridacna Squamosa fluted and ruffled clam shell measuring about 7" wide and 5-1/2" deep. Interior is creamy white - shell exterior has natural graduated ruffles with some cased dirt and soiling from exposure - a few of the ruffles have chipping and edge loss - does not detract a bit. Shell has
not been polished or finished in any way - I picked it up on my college spring break about 50 years ago. A large and striking old seashell - a wonder of nature and a lovely addition to any home, collection or display!
