    Description

Vietnamese 900 (Russian 875) Silver Tea Strainer with Stand 1950’s
Silver tea strainer on a stand with relief covered handle and reliefs on sides of the strainer.  The silver marks on the opposite side of the handle read 0,900 for Vietnamese silver and 875 which is a mark for Russian solid silver (probably late 1950’).
The strainer has octagonal shape and relief miniatures are on 4 sides.  The strainer can be removed from the holding arms for cleaning.  The octagonal spoon at the bottom is attached to a handle that also has relief miniatures on the end (see pics).
    Size:
Length of handle with spoon 6-1/2”
    Strainer across - 1-1/2”
    Strainer height 1-1/8”
Total height with spoon attached - 2”
    Weight -  3.2 oz. - 91 grams
The piece is made with artistry and imagination and can be a subject of conversation in any collector’s home.  It was probably made specifically to be sold in Russia and that is why the Russian 875 silver mark is there.  Very rare vintage item.
    Very good vintage condition.
