Wampum Quahog Shells Ancient Source-  RI 8pcs XXL Size per lot RARE MATCHED PAIRS Lot #3
Matched pairs for jewelry making, trinket trays, nautical decorating and many other craft projects.
These clams were sourced by me personally, locally, from The Great Salt Pond in Wakefield RI.
These clams are only accessible by boat and are not "beach finds". These shells are dug, scrubbed, shucked and cleaned for sale entirely by hand. No heat or exposure to the sun. Each lot contains 8 pcs, ranging in size from  3 1/2-4  inches . The lots are numbered(see images), so you can select the exact shells you will
receive
. If you do not select a lot by number, we will send the next lot up.
All shells are MATCHED PAIRS as they came out of the Pond. Still hinged together at this time. These shells will most likely separate during shipping as the hinges are fragile and we must protect the shells from damage during transit. This is virtually
unavoidable
. If you
absolutely
need the shells to remain hinged together, please message me and we will discuss as shipping will be considerably more with no guarantee.
Smaller shells available (2-3 inches) 12 per lot OR 14 per lot in matched pairs in a separate eBay listings. XL shells, 3- 3 1/2 inches in matched pairs in separate listings, also.
Due to the heavy weight of these larger shells, the shipping is more than the smaller shells.
